01Local-first storageSales, inventory, customer, supplier, and settings data are stored on your device in the normal workflow.
02No automatic Codekenz uploadCore business data is not automatically uploaded to Codekenz servers.
03Camera for barcodesCamera permission may be requested for barcode scanning, not for tracking or advertising.
04You control backupsBackup files are exported only when you select a Files destination or provider.

01Data you enter

You may enter store name, phone, address, country, currency, tax settings, products, barcodes, inventory, customers, suppliers, invoices, payments, returns, cash reports, and notes.

02Local storage

The app uses local device storage for sales, inventory, and settings data. In the current core workflow, it does not automatically upload that data to Codekenz servers.

03Camera and barcode scanning

The app may request camera access when you use barcode scanning. That permission is used for the operational scanning feature and not for advertising or tracking.

04Backup and data transfer

You can export or import a backup and save it to a Files location you choose, including iCloud Drive or another file provider such as Google Drive or OneDrive when connected to Files. The backup is not automatically uploaded to Codekenz.

05Backup protection

If you create a password-protected backup, your ability to open it later depends on the password you selected. Keep it in a safe place and do not send the password to support.

06In-app purchase

Apple handles full-version purchases and purchase restoration. The app does not directly process payment-card information, and restoration depends on the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

07Retention and deletion

Local data remains on the device until you remove it using available controls or remove the app or its data. Backups exported to another destination remain there until you manage or delete them at that destination.

08Contact and support

If you contact Codekenz by email or WhatsApp, we may receive information you choose to send, such as an issue description or screenshots. It is used to respond and follow up. Avoid sending the store database, passwords, or sensitive information unless clearly necessary.

09Scope and official compliance

The app helps manage sales and inventory and create operational documents. It does not automatically submit invoices to a government authority and does not replace a legally required official e-invoicing or e-receipt system.

10Questions and policy updates
