Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

How do I create and resume an agreement?

Open Templates, search or choose a category, review the template details, select a document language and create the agreement. Answer the questions, then review the answer summary and document preview. You can close the wizard and reopen the draft from Agreements. Resume the existing draft when you want to continue it.

Template details describe their purpose and available guidance. Templates assist drafting; their presence does not establish legal review or suitability for every country or situation.

Select View completed example from any template’s details before creating a draft or buying Pro. The example is fictional and read-only; it contains none of your data and exposes no share, save, print or signing actions.

I drew a signature. Why is it missing from the preview?

Apply to this session keeps the drawing temporarily in the signing session. Choose the signer, confirm the date and complete local signing to save it to the agreement. Canceling the session does not apply its drawing to the document.

Signatures appear on pages after the agreement body. The preview moves there after completion. When reopening the agreement, use View signatures or scroll to the final pages. These are local signatures; the feature does not provide remote identity verification or legal certification.

What happens when I edit a signed agreement?

Canceling the edit confirmation keeps the signature intact. Confirming and changing document content returns the agreement to a draft and removes applied signatures, so you can review and sign it again. Removing signatures from an agreement requires its own confirmation.

Deleting a reusable signature does not remove its copy from an earlier agreement. Editing a saved party or business profile also leaves previously captured document copies unchanged.

How do document language, digits and currency work?

The document language is independent of the interface language. Arabic documents use a localized currency name when available; English documents use the currency code. Latin digits 0–9 are the default. Arabic documents can use Arabic-Indic digits ٠–٩ through Document formatting while preparing a draft.

Amounts keep their entered value; the app does not convert currencies. Names and text you type remain as entered. A signed document retains its captured formatting. Create a new draft copy to choose different formatting, review it and sign again.

How do favorites and recently used templates work?

Use the star beside a template to add or remove a favorite. Favorites retain catalog order and work with search and category filters.

Recently used contains the last ten templates used to create agreements, with the newest first. Opening details or changing a favorite does not create a draft or add a recent entry. Retry a failed favorite save from its message. If preferences cannot be loaded, read the reset notice before confirming recovery.

Where is my data stored, and how do I export a PDF?

Drafts, answers, parties, business profiles and signatures are stored locally within the app. Use PDF actions in the document preview to save, share or print. You choose the sharing app or Files destination; that destination may be a service outside your device.

Check the saved PDF you intend to keep. System device backups depend on your settings. There is no Codekenz synchronization. Create an encrypted backup in Settings → Backup & Restore and keep its file and password before removing the app. A PDF alone cannot restore the app library.

Why is writing assistance unavailable?

The optional helper requires an available Apple model on your device and support for your OS, device and text language. An availability message may concern the language, Apple Intelligence settings or model readiness. Manual editing remains available.

A request uses only the selected description field. Review the suggestion; it replaces your answer only after explicit acceptance. The app does not automatically fall back to a cloud writing provider, and the helper does not provide legal advice.

What can Siri and Shortcuts do?

Shortcuts can search the bundled public templates, open a template’s details or start a draft after selecting a template and language. Complete the questions and review in the app. This workflow does not expose your private agreements, answers or party directory as public search entities.

How do I delete data I no longer need?
  • In Agreements, open the agreement’s menu, choose Delete and confirm.
  • In Parties, open the saved party and choose Delete.
  • In Settings, you can delete the business profile, edit its logo or delete images in the saved signature library.
  • To remove signatures applied to an agreement, open it and confirm the removal action.

Deleting a saved party, business profile or reusable signature leaves earlier copies within agreements intact. Deleting an agreement does not delete PDFs you exported or sent. Manage external files and system backups at their destinations.

How do I enable app lock?

Open Settings → App lock, enable the lock and complete Apple authentication with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Use Open my contracts when returning. There is no separate in-app PIN. If device authentication is unavailable, review your device-lock settings and try again.

The lock protects access to this app on your device. It does not lock PDFs or copies saved outside the app.

How do I create and restore a backup?

Open Settings → Backup & Restore, enter and confirm a password of at least 12 characters, prepare the encrypted backup and save the file through Files. Keep the password separately. We do not store it and cannot recover it.

To restore, enter the file’s password, select the file, review the preview and confirm the merge. Restore adds new items, skips identical copies and does not replace a different item with the same identifier. If you forget the password, do not send the backup or password to support. Use another backup whose password you know, if available. Your chosen file provider may operate outside the device.

How do I export the agreement portfolio?

Open Settings → Agreement portfolio. The app lists the included columns; clauses, answers and signatures are excluded, and party names are optional and off by default.

Select Export and share CSV, then choose a destination. After the file leaves the app it may be unencrypted text, so review destination protection before including names.

What is free, and how do I restore Pro?

Eight templates are free without a monthly usage quota. Optional Lifetime Pro unlocks 17 additional templates, password-protected PDF copies, additional reminders, eight additional message purposes and new CSV portfolio exports with one purchase. Pro is not required for app lock or encrypted backup. You can continue with Free after closing the purchase screen.

Open Settings → Pro and purchases and select Restore purchases with the Apple account used for the purchase. Check your internet connection. Apple manages purchases and their displayed price and currency. Restoring purchases restores entitlement; recovering agreement files requires your own backup. Never share card information or your Apple-account password with support.

Privacy during support: We receive only what you choose to send by email. Redact sensitive information and never send a full agreement or your backup password.
